Yellow Palm Warbler
Adirondack boreal bog where it breeds
A publication wants to use this image of mine on a cover, just taken this week. I shared this with them per request, but I am concerned that the angle of the bird is a bit steep. I do recall shooting up just a bit. I am just not sure. Comments on this appreciated. Is it a serious nit?
Also the branch in front of bird could be cloned out but they may not find such action acceptable for print.

I don't personally like images from below. To use a phrase Artie Morris uses (not necessarily for images from below in his case)- I think it is an "image killer". Having said that, you could adjust perspective using Ps Filter-Distort-Lens correction and tweak the vertical perspective.
Steepness Schmeepness! There is a reason that bird watchers use the term "Warbler Neck," and that is because they are most often high in the canopy. Since that is how bird people are used to seeing warblers, I bet that no non-photographer will even think about it.
I think this is a very nice image, Jeff. I agree with Jim - I don't find the angle of view to be a big problem here - it's really not all that steep, IMO. The colors are great, the pose is good, and the other elements give you a sense of the habitat. I would clone out the lower of the 2 catchlights.
I think this is very attractive in many ways - the colors are very nice. The upward angle isn't a deal-breaker for me, but the branches in front of and behind the bird give it a very crowded feeling. Otherwise I like it and would like to see a larger version of it.
