Default The Stilt`s elegance | A elegância do pernilongo

Hi, here`s one from a stilt and his reflection. This one was shot close an Old Mill where several species gathered.
    Comments and critiques appreciated!

Shot with the D7000, sigma 150-500 at 500mm and f7.1 in the late afternoon light coming from the right. In PP i`ve applied a small crop, sharpening, denoise and contrast.

I love these birds; they are indeed very elegant. You've caught this one with a nice pose and reflection. Judging from the position of the reflected eye, I think a slight CW rotation would be in order to get the real eye to align with its reflection. There's also a bit of sharpening halo across the back. Still, a handsome image of a beautiful bird.

This is quite a pleasing image, and yes what an elegant bird!!! It's one of my favorites. While I do like the water trail behind the bird, I Think this could also work (and may be even better) as a vertical b/c you have enough space and b/c you have a good reflection.

Beautiful photo, is the slight yellowish tinge due to the afternoon light?

Yes Aditya, the late afternoon light has a "hand" in there.
