Hi joe, nice pose and wing postion, it just seems to me that something is wrong with the WB (a little bluish) Is it a wrong impression? Also looks like you could have applied a little more sharpening!

Nice flight shot, Joseph. A down wing or up wing would have been nicer but it looks good as is.

Hello Luis, thank you for viewing and commenting. I think the white may be a little bluish, I struggle with color casts. I look into adjusting the white balance.

Hello Karl, thank you for viewing and commenting. The flight of this bird is flapping then gliding. The image I posted was of the bird gliding. Here is one with a downward flap.

Hi - I like the downward flap better and it looks like you also have more room to the right than the first image which is better. I think your sharpness is great. Really pretty shot. The curves on the top of the bird from the beak to the back are also really cool.

    Hello Joe,

Thanks for posting the down wing image. I like it better than the original. Some other people might like the original.

They are nicely exposed Joseph with good detail and contrasting background. Actually, I like the first one for the intense eye.

The second image is so much better.
The IQ seems better as well. And there is no blue color cast in it.
    Very nice,
    Gail

Hi Joseph, your repost with the full downstroke of the wings ( although flying slightly away from you ) far out weighs the OP in gliding mode. Well exposed, and love the red face and bill.
