parallel flight: marsh hawk vs. short-eared owl
Hello from Germany,
this ist my first picture in this great forum, so i hope you like it a little bit.

The Story:
It was one of my favourite experiences last year.
I was near the german north sea coast for my first try to shoot bearded tits.,
but something complete different has happend.
At first i`ve seen the marsh harrier; i thougt wow, please come closer.. but than:
The little short-eared owl flew up like an arrow from his hide to "attack" the marsh harrier.
I was so suprised and happy to see this action and
I had never catched a short eared owl before and now:
These beautiful birds together on one picture was my Highlight last year.
Forr Information: the birds did not really attack each other.

That is something special for sure to get these two species in the same frame. Well exposed and nice BG. The harrier is sharp but the owl not as much...tough to play with settings while the action surprises you on the spot! Perhaps an alternate crop would help with the comp as the bids are rather centered in the frame. Perhaps some off the left and below would work.
Anyhow, thanks for sharing this special sighting you got...and welcome to BPN!!
