Hi Gabriela,
nice simple frame of the Jackal.
Looks very good in PP without the tricks, Steve would say keep it simple.Nice details , contrast and colors all around, besides the blues creeping through on the back, maybe they are that coloration ?
.
Those eyes are looking great. i feel the subject looks a bit squeezed into the frame , any more space ?
i sent you a mail !!!

You know what ? My first thought about this frame was, please let the whole shadow of the jackal be in the frame , for me this would be a killer frame !!!!!!
Have fun on the blue monday, normally i am off tomorrow , but due to shortage in man power i have to go…. on the blue monday.
Chat tomorrow about the other stuff, Andre should send the details .
Cheers Andreas

I like the nice, easy trot and relaxed attitude you captured. How about a bit of an unconventional crop...crop on the left side about a third to half way to the jackal and leave all the shadow on the right side. I love how the shadow shows and elongates the already long legs. The even plain bkgd allows the jackal and shadow to stand out very well.

Hi Gabriela - nice pov, details and sharpness in the op. Blues noted. Because you don't have the whole shadow and it looks too big to have captured in its entirety, I would go with a crop along the lines of your op. The original capture is tight at the top and it probably would have been better to go with a portrait comp in the field. You can add canvas if it is within your ethics as Loi did but he has centered the jackal more. I prefer it off to the right of the frame as you did in your op.

Hi Gabriela - rp looks good, just watch some of the repeating patterns where you added canvas.

HI I like the repost where the jackal has more room all around especially in the front. I don't notice the blue and those things too much. There's nothing you can do about the shadow I like it just like this.

Thank you Ashleigh, much appreciated! I agree with you, I too like the RP more.
And...err...I have removed some of the blues last night
Warmest regards,

Hi Gabriela, I'll leave it with the others re colour as I'm away again, but I think the last RP works the best. Personally I think going portrait would have given you the best option, but hind sight is a wonderful thing. Nice to have the trotting motion, the open jaw and the light in the eyes. Helps to have an uncluttered BKG with no distracting elements, techs look good too.

These are naughty buggers Gabriela. Nice pose and sneaky facial expression here. My preference crop-wise is for the vertical that Loi presented.
I don't suppose you shot one with the camera turned in portrait orientation?

I like the last repost, I think it needs room with the slinky pose.
All the rest is first rate.

Hello Friends,
Glad I have managed to amuse you a little with this naughty fellow!
Morkel-welcome back!!! I might have some portraits of this chap, not sure. I certainly have portraits of other "naughty buggers" like him...One is called Snitzel and the other Pretzel (LOL). Not because I fed them, but because that's what we were busy munching on inside the vehicle when the sighting occured
