Captured this a couple of afternoons ago. I have at least 3 flickers coming in to my yard. One is an intergrade and the others are red-shafteds.
    Full frame, 1/800 @ 4.5, 500mm, -1/3 EV, ISO 1600.

Attractive bird. Like the details, colors and the wonderful BG. Exposure control works very good. In a perfect world .... the bird is looking to the left side.
The only critical I want to say is that you have cut the tail.

Nice and sharp, good BG, head turn. Just wish the tail were showing.

You did a great job on your exposure here. You have great details and colors in your WP, and what a great BG. What's not working for me is that the bird's virtual tail has been cut. I would have liked to see him higher in the frame and more to the left.

Thanks everyone. I too would have liked the tail in the shot.
