I came to Southern CA hoping to get some nice shots of some new species, and I'm going back home with some amazing shots (in my book anyway) of quite a few species. I'd never even seen a Cinnamon Teal before this week :)
Thanks to David and Glenn for showing me around and Doug for pointing me in the right direction.

Wow, Miguel! Beautiful banking shot. These guys are skittish around here and tend to hang out on whatever side of the pond I'm not. I've never been able to get a decent in-flight of one of them.
One if the most beautiful and difficult to get in flight ducks.
This is excellent, perfect view and great BG to go with.
Maybe another round of NR on the BG for perfection…...
Hi Miguel, you have great company showing you where to go to get fantastic captures like this, and you have made the most it. Love the banking angle showing off the detail and colours on the topside of the wing, not to mention that lovely red eye. You couldnt have chosen a better coloured BG either. I agree with Dan with a touch more NR on the BG. Still, very well captured.
Beautiful flight shot! Love their colour! We have a few of those during spring, but it's very difficult to get close to one. I agree that the BG needs some NR. Idelly, the head angle could be just tiny bit better.
Great shot Miguel. Love the pose and the wing position and he looks great against that BG.
It was nice meeting you and Steve I am glad you got to shoot on the best day of the year!! See ya soon.
