Default Summer Tanager singing - TX Hill Country

Spending some time at some of the TX Hill Country Ranches with a few buddies and though I would share one from Los Madrones.

Here is a Summer Tanager singing to us on a Cedar...

Processed with LR on my laptop from the hotel so it may need some more work at home.

    Thoughts ?

    Thanks for looking !

Strong work Lou! Very sharp with a neat perch, soft BG, and good eye contact. I'd like to see this posted to take full advantage of the 800 pixel maximum dimension on the long side. A little room on the left would get the bird out of the center of the frame. Thanks for posting!

Great capture Lou. Very nice color and detail with a killer BG. And I don't see any raindrops!!!!!!!!

I really like this, Lou! I really like the composition and pose. You captured a great background. I was actually thinking of cropping from the back of the frame to make the distance between the edge of the frame and the perch the same as it is on the left side of the frame.

The composition works fine and the like is soft and sweet. I love the red/green complimentary colors, the nice perch and the bird facing outside the composition but with eye contact. an excelent image IMO
