    We do not get to many of these LBHs here in Maine. Feel lucky to get close to this one this AM at Granite Point in Biddeford. 1dm3 on 500f4 at 1/1000, f8, One Shot AF, ME on BushHawk. Bob

    Glad to see you got a look at a LBH in Maine. The only ones I've seen were in Costa Rica. I like the composition. A slightly better head angle would improve the image, as would a better look at the water. I also think you could brighten the bird some Bob. Thanks for sharing.

    Nits mentioned , I might want to crop out the OOF stuff in the front as well. Still a beautiful image.

    We had one of these up in New Brunswick last year at about the same time- same bird??!

    I like the image but it seems dark, almost sombre, to me. I think it needs to be punched up a bit with Curves or Ps USM at 20/20/0.

    All around nice image! Great color! detail! I like the intense stare of of the bird!

    good pose Bob with excellent details.
    Agree it is a bit dark and IMO, the grass is a bit oversharpened

    that aside, I really like this.....probably because I can never get one in grass and I like it
