White-fronted Parrots from Black Rock Lodge, Belize, last month. Light was tough: strong sun hitting the female's face (left bird), while the male's face was shaded. I did a fair amount of burning and dodging to open up the shaded areas and tone down the highlights. The background is the canyon wall across the river in shadow, untouched except for NR. Oh, and the male's wings in this frame were not fully raised, so I borrowed the wings from the next frame to complete the effect. I know this looks sort of garish, but these birds really do display these bright colors. C&C appreciated.

Bill, nice one. Excellent PP with a dynamic and interactive pose. Both subjects are clean and clear with viewer attention drawn to the right side. I really like how two wing positions are represented with the bright colors shown well.
I really laughed when I saw the title -- love it. The interaction between the two is wonderful and I like the wing position. Nice and sharp! I agree that the lighting was not your friend here, but you came away with something I really like.
Magnificent image of beautiful pair with lovely colors, beautiful BG and composition.Great PP work.
First time seeing,he is saying something and she is listening quietly...very nice expression captured here, Bill Sir.
Love it.
