Taken yesterday, these birds are rare in my neck of the woods, but just lately a couple have been showing regulary on my local river, this bird took flight out of the banking, and turned to wards me,hence one of the wings lower than the other.cannon500mm L F4,7D,MONOPOD,ISO800,F5.6,1/4000S,CROPPED AND SHARPENED,some NR in BG.

Chris ,love the exposure you have on this shot and the bird stands out very well against that nice dark sky, great capture.

Nice flight shot, Chris. I would like the bird being a little bigger in the frame.

Nice flight angle and background. I only wish the near wing were raised a bit more.
