    Pretty simple frame, but a shorebird I rarely get to see.
    Taken in Laguna San Ignacio, Baja, Mexico.

    very nice,good exposure,nice soft light,like the pose,the water drop on bill,and raised foot add nicely,tack sharp with good detail.

    Excellent pose, Dan. The raised foot and the water drop on the beak are all nice.

    As has been written, nice soft light, the water drop and raised leg enhances the image. Nice capture Dan.

    As you say, a good simple image.
    I personally am not a fan of this leg position. I prefer the foot to be a bit more forward and clear of the water line. But that is personal preference. I like the drop at the tip of the bill.
    You must have been sitting in your lounge chair at the beach for this one as it isn't your usual super low view!
