The composition works well, the pale background is complimentary to the overall tone and the concentration of the chick is well demonstrated.
Nice and with good detail. Your choise of composition works well and I like the perfect camouflage of the bird within the tree.

This is cool, Troy and I like it too because its different than other Screech photos. Nice composition. I just photographed a rufous screech in a palm tree at my grandparents in Florida but it didn't come out too well. I had to use manual focus and a flash because it was so dark. Im trying to fix the photo in Photoshop.
