    Default Snowy Owl.

I went back to where I found the Snow Buntings on Last Friday.
What a change; almost all the snow was gone, only a few patches here and there.
I found this Snowy very close to the road just after sunrise.
    Shot from the car.
    Buntings were all gone.
    Thanks for looking.

nice Karl like how you captured the stare nice details just wished the owl just moved forward a bit just to separate the BG a bit more but it still feels good to get that shot

Beautiful capture! Exposure, details, and colour balance are all good.

What a beautiful owl and I like the barring on the chest of this individual. Nice alert pose and the eyes are looking your way very intent. Your techs and detail look great. Well done Karl.

Lovely pose superb quality image. The feather detail round the beak really grabs attention.

Wonderful pose and expression on the owl. Nice low angle and natural setting. Great that you got both eyes evenly lit. Good one Karl!

    Very very nice Karl.
Excellent IQ and love the talons.
No one else has mentioned this but I feel it needs a bit of CW rotation.
How nice that the owl perched on the ice and not in the grass to let us see those feet,
    Gail

Karl, Those wide open yellow eyes are killer. You know that I'm not a big one for cloning stuff out, but the branches touching his head could go (Just back a bit.) Then I'd pring this one....really love it!

Thanks, Grace. Good idea about the cloning. Will do and might even print it out. I only have two Snowy Owls on my walls so far.
