    Default THEME - Harn Geometry

The University of Florida Harn Museum of Art has some interesting geometric sculptures outside the building. This is a portion of one of the sculptures - cropped and I used an OnOne Glow Preset in LR to finish it.

The more I look at this, the more I like it (and I started out liking it). The colors, composition, and lighting are all well done. I like the brown and gray together, and I'm guessing the OnONe preset is responsible for some of the brown. I wondered about cropping the bricks out of the image but decided that they're important in terms of tying together the color and design. They also serve as an effective base, especially if the railing is viewed as part of the design. The diagonal edge of the shadow leads very nicely to the gray piece. Bonus points for lining up the top of the railing and the top of the base of the brown piece.

I really like the abstract quality of this & the subtle colors! Although the copper structure is meant to be "the art", you have created additional art by stepping back and incorporating all the surrounding modern lines of the windows, railing, etc. as well as the shadows into the image. If I was the artist of the copper sculpture I would be thrilled to know someone incorporated it into an even bigger art effect! I like the 3 diagonal lines in the image from the lower tilted copper rectangle and the diagonal on the building brought out by the shadows. Well seen & processed!

I like the shapes in the composition and the color palette. The processing adds a modern graphic look to the scene. Nice work!!

The color palette and composition are pleasing. Kudos for seeing the image. The individual component parts are rather mundane. When arranged properly in aggregate, they produce a work of art. Well done.

I'm having trouble keeping up with all the images posted!
Excellent image. Especially good for this theme. Lots of sharply defined geometric shapes. REally good composition. I like the colors, tones and glow. Well done!

Very nice Cheryl! I love the color palette and the patterns and lines of the image. Great job of lining up the shot to take best advantage of the elements!
