Here's another cute and fluffy Gray Jay photographed in Algonquin Park last week. They like spruce forests so this picture is more indicative of its preferred habitat.

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/500s., f/9, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, usual eye work, a few spruce needles sticking out of the jay's shoulder to our right cloned out. NR to BG.

Sweetness factor is off the charts!
IQ and the feather detail is perfect.
Great comp and love the overall colors and light.

The cuteness factor here is huge! The feather details are just amazing and this bird against the green is just over the top. This image would sell MANY cards!

Super pose on a perfect perch. Detail in the feathers and the spruce are just spot on. All I can do is reinforce what others have said, cutness plus in this one. Also wanted to mention that the green background really compliments the whole image.

Amazing details and IQ. Cute as a button. Love the deep green bg and perch. A tad tight in the frame for me, but not much.
