    It looked like this grebe was waiving a "good morning" to me! All C&C welcome.

    Excellent image, Jonathan.
    Very nice pose with raised wing and foot behind. I like the beautiful water with ripples around the bird and composition.

    Perfectly timed for a killer pose, Jon. For the pose, the bird is placed perfectly in the frame for my taste. Love the rich fg/bg colors. Love the hairdo on this guy. Tricky side lighting handled very well. In an ideal world both eyes would be equally visible and the bird evenly lit, but I'd take this in a heart beat.
