I used Oil Paint from jixipix and then Exposure 5, and added three textures. I liked the box effects of the one texture and the other 2 added dark edge effects mostly and lightened it some. Love that grunge! For some great textures check out Kerstin Frank Art on flickr. The one with the box effect and heavy grunge is hers. I downloaded 54 of hers all in the same day!!

I don't know if you took the photo at such an angle so you wouldn't be reflected in the glass or so the siding would be strongly pointing to a nearby vanishing point, but I certainly like the effect.

Thanks Dennis. I took it like that because it was the only angle to get the nice reflection. I didn't want it to be that much of an angle and in fact I warped the window a little to look better. Now that I grunged it, I like it like that too.

Hi, Judy, I like the perspective and the reflection. The vignetting looks good for the image. Thanks for the tip on the textures!

Well seen and crafted! I really like the grunge effect also, as well the subtle box effect. The rich colors look great with the textures. Also, thanks for the textures info. I'll go check that out.

Judy, you really worked the textures to good advantage in this image. I especially like the part of a texture that is framing the window, which has a frame of its own. Grunge is good...

What a fun image! I love the tree reflected in the window. Good job! I might lighten the very top area of the image. Lovely how the tree glows!
