Taken at the University in Toronto. I basically did a flip using the marquee tool, and then many colour adjustments. Also added some lens flare.

I like this, Jackie, especially the intense color and the lens flares

Creative and well done! I really like the saturated colors & the lens flares that further encourage you up the stairs , and that once up the stairs there is a mottled door, so you still don't know what is up there!

I agree that the color and lens flare are very effective. And the door with the light behind it. The fact that the image was flipped probably makes the door even more important. I also like the rapidly decreasing width of the stairs from bottom to top (wide angle lens???). The light areas on the walls could be ghosts descending the staircase . . .

Jackie, you have been successful in creating an eerie scene. The mottled saturated colors a texture of the bricks and steps are effective. The lens flare is a great touch.

Nice work Jackie, I really like this image. It evokes a lot of mystery and suspense in the mind of the viewer. The lens flare really adds even more eeriness to the scene.

Jackie...the lens flare is very effective. In addition to leading the viewer up the stairs, it gives a ghostly look to the whole image. And as others have pointed out, the colors and textures are very effective.
