    This egret remained steadfast on its perch through a rainstorm. The title refers to the greater-than symbol of the perch and reflection in the water.

    Nikkor 300mm f/4 w/1.4x teleconverter

    ISO 640

    Manual exposure
    Hand held

    I enjoy the somber quiet mood. Strong vertical composition, and a nice clean composition as well. Exposure looks solid.

    Perfect and imaginative title.
    The perch and reflections really make for a nice, unusual image. I like the angles within this image.

    Geometricly strong image!! Love the title and explanation behind it. Good comp with reflection...I can just imagine how killer this would have been with a perfectly clear reflection!
