    This Snowy Owl was perching on the chimney of a house nearby.
    I managed to capture a few shots of the take off.

    It's a beautiful flight shot Karl nicely exposed and sharp! Love the hanging feet.

    Absolutely beautiful - Love it great pose. Are the highlights on the right cheek and edges of the fore wings just a little high?

    Nice flight pose and the light was well handled. I always enjoy seeing those talons outstretched.

    I like the feather pattern, talons and sharpness. I would take some off from our left but that is my preference. Well done Karl.

    Beautiful flight shot! I would consider toning down the whites in the owl's right side, and lift the shadow a bit on the owl's left side.

    Spectacular taking off pose with lovely wing spread.....However I will name it as" Smiling Owl..Did you say "smile please" before clicking ?
    Beautiful lights,great exposure. Love the expression, feather design, talons and lovely composition.

    Another wonderful Snowy Owl image. Exposure control is perfect. I love wing position and the talons. The blue BG fits very well to the white bird
