I found this egret trying to sneak by me while at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida last Monday morning.

Nice flight shot! Good white balance and nice details! Ideally, I wish the head angle is a bit better, but it is what it is when the Egret flies by looking the other way.

Nice breeding plumage on this well exposed flight shot.

Nice breeding colors on this one and the exposure and details look great. Too bad the wing shadowed the legs. Nice work

I like the exposure and breeding colours. It would have been nice if he looked your way. Nice image Joe.

David, thank you for viewing and commenting. Here is one from the same series that the legs are not in the shadow of the wing.

Joe, the repost does not "fix" the head angle issue...but it is a much stronger image than the OP IMO due to the front wing being nicely lit by the sunlight (I was going to mention in the OP that I wish the near wing was not shadowed so much.) The fra wing also looks good in the repost with some nice iridescence.
