This is excellent Ian! I almost love the perch as much as the bird :)

Excellent detail capture! Interesting pose but with no face it's hard to tell at first what I was looking at - a headless bird?!

A fun image with nice details-especially like the dandelion seeds around the perch. The hotspot to the right and that stray line to the left could be removed or toned down. There's also a sharpening halo on the right edges of the bird, output sharpening related?

Ian really like the composition and the perch but it looks over sharpened a bit. Milkweed seed is interesting.

Different and very nice, but it has an over-sharpened look in the fine feathers. I'd like to see it with a bit more room all around, and with the leaf on the left edge removed.

    Hi Ian

A fun image that would be good for a caption contest. I like the detail in the feathers.
