I was going to not post big closeups for awhile, go for the bigger picture, but I couldn't resist.
This is about 75% of FF and too close for a much DOF but a good look at the tongue of a Wood Duck.

I like the details, open bill, tongue exposure and sharp where it needs to be. Excellent close-up Dan!

Beautiful closeup with fantastic details! I especially love the open bill, tongue, and teeth. I think a slight brightness adjustment might be better as it looks a bit dark on my calibrated screen. Also some CW rotation might be needed.

Very nicely done Dan. I like the low angle, superb details and the open bill. On my particular computer (which is not calibrated) it looks just a touch dark as others have said.

What a great close-up. Terrific view of the head, neck and mouth.
I feel like it needs a touch of CW rotation and a touch of brightness.

Fantastic details on the mouth and chest! I agree it is a touch dark, and could go for a bit of CW rotation. I'd also darken the whitish streak touching the duck's head. I still like the image lots...seems like a very happy fella!

Looks great to me (calibrated monitor) maybe lift the darkest plumage a little. I like the slight angle of approach and of course the open bill with visible tongue.

Looks like critical focus was right on the tongue. Pretty cool seeing the inside of the mouth. The detail looks great. I agree about a little brighter. Nice capture Dan.
