Hi Joe, This one is sharp with a nice head turn. If the image can stand it, a tighter crop would put more emphasis on the subject--it is kinda lost in that big frame. The bird is nicely positioned between the barbs; it is likely that you would have preferred a natural perch. The harsh light and the shadow on the tail are problematic. Thanks for posting.

I like the pose, sharpness and clean BG. I too would prefer a more natural perch. Nice image Joe.

This species is one of the earlier migrants up here so this image is making me look forward to its return (another 4-5 weeks!). I agree with Artie's critique, but I will also add that I wish its head was not cocked upwards. Very nice BG...that is one advantage of photographing along rural roads.
