    Nikon D7100 300mm F4 1.4xTC
    1/1250 @F/6.3 +1/3EV ISO 400 Manual

    RAW capture sharpening in LR5
    Shot at sunset so colour temp was lowered to 4781K to lessen the golden light effect on the white owl. Strong blue reflections from sky on her head and right shoulder were lightened as well.
    Enhanced highlight detail in face, FF height cropped for print (8x10) on PS, Topaz DeNoise on background, unsharp mask on bird.

    This is one of many interesting poses I caught of this girl as she sat on the fence post for over an hour while I snapped away from behind a snowbank 15 feet away.

    excellent pose, details and view of talons. The partial shadow on his right eye is a bit distracting but everything else is great including the calling pose
