    Default Yet Another Snowy Landscape

It is hard to resist posting another snowy owl image after reading the article on Audubon magazine that just came out. Well. we didn't see 75 owls at one spot like the author stated, but we saw 3 in a small patch of field in Ottawa with Daniel.

My fingers are still a little bit numb from the frostbite on this first afternoon out, but it was all worth it. I wish I had the time to be back before they all move North.

    Thank you for your comments.

Another nice shot in the sun Loi. Looks like you were one of the few that got some sun on their trip up there. The landscape looks great in this one and the exposure and detail look nice too.
If she only looked over at you it would be a stronger image but still nice as it looks like its hunting. The flying snow adds to the image too. Well done.

Nicely done. EXP right on. And I like the shadow. My only wish would be that the near wing was in the full downstroke.

    Was this bird baited?

Hi Artie, thank you for your comments. Sorry, forgot to mention that the owl was baited. Loi

That particular owl was in a nice spot with good habitat, and it shows nicely here in the background. Good exposure, sharpness. Love the far wing. I could see a version with a bit less sky, but I really like the blue-brown-white colour bars n the BG.

Nice low angle, super exposure and I am liking the wide angle feel to this one.

Thanks Loi. Please do so with each image to avoid the newcomers being misled.
