Crazy beautiful light and fg/bg colors, Dan. Your signature ultra low angle always works well with swimming ducks.
    Droplet is a nice bonus.
I'd try a more conventional comp/bird placement on this one.

Nice overall, just too much room on the bottom.

You have a stunning subject, light and water. Love the water droplet on the beak. I am with Troy. I feel there is too much room on the bottom and the duck is a tad too close on the left. I would try a few more crops to see what you can come up with that might better showcase your stunning duck and water/BG.

Take quite a bit off the bottom and add a few inches on the left and you wind up with a sweet hen wood duck image in beautiful light. Either way its sweet, just my opinion. Nice work Dan

I will be the sole dissenter here :). I agree with all of the positive comments above but feel that folks are missing Dan's inclusion of lots of the reflection.... I like the crop as is.

I have been meaning to say Dan that your photography has improved immensely since you have been hanging out here. Everything that I have seen from you lately has been top notch. I would eliminate the round grey circle in the foreground that is below and in front of the duck.

Thanks Artie, I appreciate the compliment coming from you a lot.
Thanks also to the others, I take a lot of duck photo's, and have a lot more from this session, so I just tried
    something different with the crop.

I must admit I am torn on the crop, but since you have lots and were experimenting with alternate comps then that is a great exercise to get out of the comfort zone. Really good IQ, low angle, BG.

I would crop tighter but thats just me.
I love the sweet light in this one as the sharp subject. TFS!

Always a pleasure to view one of these beauties. Nice close capture, well exposed, sharp and love the low angle and complimantary surrounding colors.
