Hi Loi - What a cute image! Good sharpness and detail on the squirrel. Because the snow lacks detail and you can still see very faint darker areas, I would be tempted to take it more high key and brighten the snow a little. Overall, really nice image of an animal we often pass right by.

Rachel, Good idea on making the snow brighter. I only upped the exposure by +0.15EV, but it made a noticeable difference. Loi

Really nice Loi! The repost does it for me, though I would add more contrast (midtones and shadows) to the squirrel.

Hi Loi, I like this, it's different, a cracking little portrait and IMHO a 'commercial' image too.

I'm hoping this is based and developed from the feedback on your Hare shot? Can't comment on colour, but would explore the feedback.

    Cool shot!

This is good, I like the whiskers, I do think if it had more snow definition right in front below the face, it would look better.

Yes, I thought of your version of the hare when I worked on this image. Thanks again. Loi

Hi Andreas, by more mid tones, do you mean more contrast. Morkel aslso said it, so I added a little more contrast here. Thanks. Loi

Please see the RP with a little more contrast. I'm quite happy with the end result after your suggestions. Thank you! Loi

Hi Loi, looks better to me, did you apply it to the whole subject? If so i would go different and use a mask and then apply the mid tone .
