Default Two Eagles (without the graffiti)

    Attached Images Attached Images

I was taking pictures of the waterfowl at my usual harbor location when these 2 eagles flew in to have a look.
Unfortunately, they chose to land on a rock covered with graffiti. I used a combination of content fill aware, patch tool and cloning to undo the graffitti.
I then selectively increased the exposure of the left eagle by .5 and the right eagle by .3 in Photoshop. Added 5% canvas on left.
The scene was quite dark because it was right around sunset.
What is really cool about this scene is that the ducks did not fly away when these 2 arrived. They were swimming contentedly 5 feet below them. The eagles stayed for about 10 minutes and left with all ducks unharmed.
Also, you can see how much larger and darker the female is on the left.
I will post the original with this because I did so much PP ( in the interest of full disclosure and to keep me honest!)
Comments and critiques always learned from and appreciated with thanks,

Beautiful, Gail. You've done well by those majestic birds: color, composition, exposure, poses and sharpness are all excellent. And your PP work on the rock is masterful.

Beautiful birds, majestic... nicely shown. Your image makes me want to go to the marsh and look for eagles.

Well deserved PP for such magnificent creatures! And a job well done! Your exposure on the 2nd pic is tons better than the 1st. Nice overall!

Hi Gail, great pp work to remove the graffiti, and well done on the exposure of these two. Love the intent stare of the female.

I didnt realise that female BE's were larger than the males.

Beautiful, Gail. Nice head turns on both birds, and lovely light. Excellent PP work, including the choice to adjust the exposures differently on the two birds.

Nice job on the clean up and excellent details. Getting 2 birds sharp in the frame is at least 10 times more difficult than getting one! Way to capitalize on an opportunity!

It's a shame some people find a need to "tag" objects with graffiti. Excellent job on the clean-up and you have a beautiful image resulting from your processing patience.

Great job on cleaning up that ugly hand of man, with a spray can in it. The final image is beautiful and I love the fact that it shows the sexual dimorphism well between the two.
Look at that honker on the female! Nice work Gail

Great PP work! And a "Don't mess with me!" look if ever there was one!
