Captured this duck on a local loch, Fife, Scotland.
The bird saw me, even though he was a good distance away, and started swimming fast, away, from where I was standing, he turned around, and I was able to capture that golden eye

(first image I had taken with my new Canon 2x TC, and I am very happy with the result)

It's really nice William! Nicely framed, good detail and eye contact. Cool water too. You may want to just try reducing shadows 10 or 20 percent to see if this helps bring out some contrast on the face.

You got a very nice head turn, and lovely water and reflection! I have trouble with these guys and their wet heads -- makes the IQ seem a little off, but that just seems to be the way they are.
