Very dramatic pose and colors! Love the blue eye and the way the nesting material drapes back onto the neck. Nice details & highlights on the black anhinga against the colorful blurred bkgd. Maybe just a wee bit more space on the right, so that stretched back wing is not so close to the edge.

Hi, Stuart, the pose and colors are terrific. I'd like a little more room on top as well as on the right.

Hi Stu, I can see that you started with a real gem of a base image. I love what PB did with the bird's plumage as well as the background. I agree that a little more space for this large bird might be nice. Well done!

Stuart, I agree with Kerry that the base image is a winner. I would like to see the unaltered anhinga against the painted bg.

I love the position of the bird, and that eye! Dramatic. The nesting material has a graceful shape and is easy to see, telling the story of what the bird is doing. Have you considered toning down the texture/filter on the background? I find it just a bit distracting. Adding some space at the top might also be good. Beautiful capture!
