I have time on my hands during winter so I decided to design/build this one off 6wd independent suspension differential steering r/c fpv adruino controller based bluetooh speaker gimbal mounted camera robot. Since I took this photo a few weeks ago I have rerouted the camera control wires better, switched antennas, re-fabricated the side panels and sewn a detachable camo cover for the gimbal. The plan is to use ultra wide angle focal lengths on wildlife, birds, track, cycling, etc. for a different perspective from long tele's. In my few tests to date I have had no problem approaching shore birds within a few feet without spooking them. Range as currently set up up is appx. 2km.

That is Way Cool! Like a little Mar's Rover. So by remote you control the camera and visually see what your looking at? Like Marina stated, that would be cool for wide-angle shots up close of gators. "Look at dem' Snappers". I too would love to see some of the creative uses you or images you get from this Mike.

Yep. Thanks. Nothing is off the shelf per se so lots of trial / error and head scratching.

TFS Mike, does sound like quite a project, tons of fun. Even with the speaker it's interesting the possibilities. Great for video too.
    Good Luck.
