Hi Frank, another great low angle capture, and well timed to have captured part of their dance. Great that both sets of eyes are visible, and love the dark BG. I can see this 'exposing'/lightening both grebes just a touch, and a little selective sharpening on the grebe closest to us. Love the flying droplets.

Well done Frank for capturing this spectacular dance, I have a pair on a loch near to me, and would love to capture them doing this courtship display, but so far, cant get close enough to them. Great pic

Frank:
Very interesting behaviour captured, had to study the image to figure out what was going on with the vegetation.
I like the dark surroundings, very dramatic.
I could see a vertical of this because of the poses.
The gaze of the back bird with the slight head tilt towards the other bird is sweet.
Cheers
Randy

Very nice capture Frank. I like the mood to this one and the two both have visible eyes and nice poses. Very nice exposure and detail also. Well done

Terrific behavior shot. Perfect POV as well.
I feel that the exposure could be increased on this image without blowing the whites.
If this isn't a big crop I feel it would also look great as a vertical (but only if IQ holds up).

Another very nice image from your grebes. The dark BG fits very good to the dancer. Low angle is perfect. Well done, Frank.

I agree about lightening, it is hard to see what's going on.
Great POV and dramatic lighting.
