Cool perspective and nice you got eye contact.
I like blurred wings, I just would have liked the near wing lower.

Interesting bg, sharp capture with nice details. Nice position in frame, balanced composition. Bit of a sharpening halo (might be the monitor I'm on). Think I'd try de-saturating the reflected green on the under side surfaces and lightening the eye just a touch.

Hi Rob, this is really in your face, and I like this lots. Cool take of pose, sharp where it counts, and I do like how you have brought out the greens on the head. I agree with Randall to desaturate the greens on the underside of the wings.

Terrific take-off shot, Rob. Great sharpness on the head, and nice iridescence. Good points made about halo and underwing.

A fine sharp shot, lovely detail, the grass in the spaces in under wing looks a little odd - sort of squared off - not sure why.

Very nice! I agree re: desaturating the greens in the BG and the color cast of the green under the wings.
You have shown the iridescence superbly.
I like the curly cue on the tail feather.
There appears to be a funny area between the feathers on the far wing. What is this?

Beautiful flight pose. Tack sharp where it needed, beautiful colors and composition.
    Rest is mentioned above.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Thanks for thecomments everyone. Much appreciated! To Gail and Jonathans questions regarding the funny area between the feathers on the far wing. This was shot on a wildlife refuge island with a great deal of marsh in the background so it could be anything. I will try to clone this out. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Rob, I took that area mentioned as the white feather edges with a severe blue cast as well as a gap in the feather on the wing. Coincidental that the gap hits the green horizon-I'd play around with a local temperature brush before doing anything drastic as it might look awkward with the feather tips cloned out.

As suggested, I tried to repair the lower wing area. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
