OK-not the colours of the rainbow, however this Bewick's Wren talks as I walk. He inhabits the underbrush and seems always to be behind the 'stick'. I enjoy the wren so I pay homage to his brown shades and textures.

Busy bg as thats where it lives so fine. Hard, fast and elusive as Wrens are. Great pose and nice techs.
I like it , tfs. Guess it sings a lovely song too?

The thumbnail doesn't do this one justice! Environment shots for these guys are a challenge.

Nice light, no offensive shadows on the bird.

Certainly looks sharp, with good colors all around.

Nice eye detail, open bill is a plus.

It's such a nice pose I'd be tempted to crop tighter from top and left if the image allows. Might burn in the bright branch behind the head. (slightly)

Beautiful bird. Like the pose, eye contact and the habitat BG.
