I hope you like this small-in-the frame image. Not my usual style so am interested in your thoughts. Fun to try new compositions.

I am not sure I have ever seen one out of water....
Really funny little march you got here, I like it a lot.
it would have really been great with all snow!

I love small in the frame, and this image is quite thought-provoking. Love the golden water and the raised foot. I think this would also work nicely as a pano.

Just love the intent look, the in-stride pose and the comp. Wouldn't change a thing here Grace.
LLC and URC has a few pixels of blank canvas (possibly from rotation?)

The first word that came to me was 'cute'! A bird on a mission, for sure! I love it - nice low angle, nice exposure, nice composition. And 'cute' model!

Definitely a cute one. I would crop out that water in the
foreground, just leaving the blue...creating the pano I
    think Marina talked about first.

Grace looks like you have had some good suggestions above, certainly "rocks my boat" as posted.

I like the extended crest, eye, step and matching foreground color. It's good Grace!

Hi Grace, love the walking pose with the raised foot, and small in the frame works nicely here. If this were mine, I would crop away the golden FG, and just show the ice.

Love it! I have seen this species out of water before but not in a walking motion like this. I could do with a bit less water below but would definitely keep that feature in there is it tells the story of where this individual is going.

Oh yes. This is really wonderful. Love the walking pose and the colors in BG and FG. Low angle and exposure control are perfect. Well done, Grace.

I like the walking pose, sharpness, exposure and BG. I would take some off the bottom as well. Nice image Grace.

I like this one a lot. Small in frame or pano (as already mentioned) work equally well for me. This one is all about the subject and setting. I wish the post in the reflection wasn't there but it's a nit pick, not an image killer.
