This Adelie penguin seemed to glide over rocks on one of the Fish Islands, in Antarctica.

Awesome, Norm! I'm feeling just a tad too much bright Ice at the top...Perhaps a crop just under where the iceberg is bright and big would bring a bit more "eye" down to the penquin? WAY COOL (pun intended) image!

I also would like to see a crop off the top.
Had the ice been in focus, it would have added, but it isn't and the penguin alone is the
    star.

Wonderful colours and exposure, I like the composition very much - very eye catching indeed.

    Hi Norm, I love this!
The iceberg, even if it's outside of DOF range, adds a lot to this image IMO and I would keep it.
The pose is just excellent! Apart from the slight halo around the bird, I wouldn't change anything here.

Thanks everyone for your comments. But my view is that the ice is important to the composition. It adds color and balance, and it doesn't bother me that it is not sharply in focus.
