I like the subdued colours and the vanishing point of the tracks. I might back off on the vignetting a bit, it looks too dark to me. Very pretty scene.

Especially with the fog, I like the combination of black & white with some of the color restored. The perspective works well, too. I agree with Jackie about toning down the vignette some.

Hi Janet, this scene works well for the process chosen. I really like the subdued colors, agree re: comments on vignette. The fog is an interesting element in that it provides a vanishing point, but it also looks like the smoke from an old steam engine-so much so that my eye wanted to see the faint glow of a locomotive headlight in there. The birds add depth as well, are they part of the scene or added in post? One critique would be that the camera position is either off center or not at a 90* angle to the rails.

Nicely done. I like the combination of B&W and subtle colors. Wonderful sense of depth. Love the fog. There is a blurred area on the left side, at the line where the vegetation meets the rocks that is a bit distracting. Some good suggestions above. Have you considered darkening the birds?

Janet, sorry I'm late commenting. I like the image and agree that the vignette could be a little lighter

Love the scene, the fog /smoke and the coloration. Not sure if the fog was added or enhanced, but I feel the bottom edge could be a little more feathered, especially on the left side of the tracks. (How's that for nitpicking?)

Hi all
thanks for the comments, I did not add anything to the scene, the birds were ducks flying over to a pond. and the fog is real. I just softened the fog up a little after doing my initial over sharpen.
Thanks again for the comments.
Janet :)
