Here's another WP from Belize, from the porch of Black Rock Lodge in low light. C&C appreciated. (This was shot vertically; 60% of full height. An alternate crop follows.)

Here's another version, at 75% of full height. I think I prefer the OP, but curious how others feel.
Hey Bill, both are top notch. Lovely bird nicely shown. I prefer the OP because it eliminates the island of background in the lower right hand corner. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bill, lovely detail on this fellow, and well exposed on the colours, sharp too. I prefer your OP, but would take a bit off the LHS.
I like the larger view myself. The BG needs a bit of smoothing out over the bird.
Nice to see some "foreign" woodpeckers.

Hi Bill, pretty woodpecker with nice eye contact. Nice use of flash and I like the clean bg. OP works for me, but could see a very tiny sliver taken off the left. TFS.
Great shot Bill. Either one works for me.
Bill,
I'd take the OP over the looser crop (maybe move the bird up a bit in the frame and take a sliver off the left?).
Not much more I would do.

Great looking Woodpecker, Bill. Nice details, colors and pose.
I like the original post the best. Great pose, sharpness, details and the kickstand tail really adds to the image. Very well done Bill!
Great background, very nice shot.
Beautiful IQ Bill. Love the entire color richness, and sharp detail of this beauty. Prefer the OP.

Great pose, details and light. The perch is nice, too. Prefer the OP.
I like your OP as well. Very lovely species with nice feather detail & composition. TFS
Thank you everyone. Appreciate the comments.
