    Default Snowy Owl at Sunrise

Yet another snowy owl image. Taken just before sunrise with Daniel in Ottawa. I set the exposure for the pink sky, not wanting to over expose it. Not sure if the owl was exposed properly as there is noise on the face of the owl.

Cloned out a distract stick on the snow.
    Owl was baited.

WB for the white on the owl.

Hi Loi, great eye contact here, and I quite like the wing position. The exposure looks fine to me, although a little more colour to the sky wouldnt harm the image. Placement wise, I wish the snowy was either slightly above or below the horizon line, but I realise thats not always possible with a head on capture.

Stuart just spoke my mind. The horizon line is a distraction. Good eye contact.

Lovely bird nicely shown. I too find the horizon line and the out of focus trees slightly distracting from the bird but we have to capture them as we find them. Great capture, nice image.

Oh, very good. The light red BG is super. Love the eye contact and flight pose. Very well done, Loi
