    Default Ring-Necked Female

Surely becoming one of my favorite ducks, this female Ring-Necked wasn't shy and came within full frame distance (@700 mm). I took a similar shot with her body parallel to the camera, but thought this one gave it a bit more dimension. Thoughts?

Definitely an easier exposure in bright sunlight (when compared to the male ring-necked).

Yes its an easier exposure but this one had a better angle to the sun and the sensor than your last shot of the drake. I like the feather detail and the laxed looking eye with the sharp catchlight in it.
    Nice comp too. Nice work.

Hi Miguel, this angled pose really works well, and I do like the light. Excellent detail and sharpness on the head and beak - the finer detail shows up so well. You couldnt have chosen a better BG to compliment the duck.

Great close up, Nice BG and details, I might remove the highlights on the breast.
