Help with Critiques

Hi, everyone. A friend in my local camera club group sent me this link - http://1x.com/blog - and I thought I would share it. It might be helpful to give you ideas on points to bring up when you comment on an image. Of course, in OOTB it is a little more difficult because each post is an artist's creation and vision but if you're having trouble coming up with something to say this might give you some starting points.

I would also ask that everyone who posts an image on the forum have the courtesy to offer constructive critiques to the images of others. A rule of thumb is to critique 5 images for every one you post.

Anita, the links to Julie Kenwards' critiques are very good and thorough. I find it very tough as I go by feel, rather than being too technical. I too find it courtesy to respond to 5 posts with every image.
