    Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada
    D300, 200-400 VR
    1/250s f/7.1 at 400.0mm iso250
    hand held from F150, natural light, 85% of ff

    Just a plain simple bird, but for some reason, I like the variety of sparrows we have around here during migration. Hopefully the creative on this shot helps! All comments welcome.

    I like it Raymond. Nice pose with a good sharp eye. But I would clone out the dark oval adjacent to the bird.

    Sparrow looks great and I like the perch a lot. So much that I would have liked to see the seed pod cut off on the upper left. Also moving left or right would have gotten the OOF pod on his bum away from the bird.

    Fully agree with Robert on the slight change in position Just moving a bit would have separated the dark spots !!! Actually pointing the camera down and left would have made a difference. Would not mind seeing the bird higher and left !!! Excellent image Love the feel !!!!

    thanks for the cool comments, I agree, some lateral movement would have helped for sure, but then I would have had to start the truck!! One disadvantage of the F150 hide. It's a busy image anyhow, i wasn't trying for the perfect bg, just a natural looking image.
