Taken Sunday at Venice, FL. A touching moment between adult and offspring. This was not a feeding event, but just a moment of interaction. 1D Mark IV, ISO 800; 500 mm f/4L IS + EF 2x TC; 1/5000 sec. @ f8.

Nice shot Dennis, do you have more room all around? If so, I would attempt a 16x20 portrait crop and not showing the legs of the adult. Giving it a more intimate shot.

Hi Troy, interesting take...and I like it. Thanks for the suggestion. It does seem more intimate.

The original crop wasn't working for me, but really liking the RP by Troy!!! Wonderful interaction.

Thanks Marina, yeah I don't know what I was thinking when I did the original crop. I too like the re-work by Troy.
