    Default Spotted Towhee.

    This is an other very rare vagrant in our area. The darkness of the evergreen shrub is one of his hiding places.
    It just came out to go under the feeder to pick up some seeds. I like this despite the fact that it is not parallel
    to the camera as it shows some nice snow and his winter retreat.
    Taken today morning.

    Nice job on the exposure, Karl. (And thanks for the one critique I got on the photo I submitted earlier -- "The Greeting"). Very nice IQ and lighting on this guy. Sweet.

    Very nice getting one out in the open!
    It must be lost or it would not be on the open….

    You've been doing well with the rarities Karl. I like the alert posture, snow, very nice eye. I wouldn't mins a tad less below (maybe half the thinner part of the snow at right) and a bit more above and left.
