Ok, I know this is just a ubiquitous house finch from my yard....but I like the shot...so here it is. I can't decide if I should dial down the contrast a bit....opinions?

I can see why you like this.
I love love the perch and the curves from the branches around the seed pod.
    Perfect HA and great BG.
    Contrast is fine.
As much as I love the perch I find it overwhelms the bird a bit.
Did you know you can post your images larger at 1400 X 900 pixels and 400 KB size?

Actually I didn't know that....I thought longest side could only be 900...guess I should have read the rules better.

    Thanks for the comments.

This one is now 1200 across...seems to be the largest I can post.

I love the perch! I get tons of these birds in my yard, but I don't have a perch to compete with yours. Pose and sharpness are excellent. WB seems a little cool; you might try warming things up a bit. Contrast looks fine to me.

Great perch; great bird. I'm not sure which one wins the competition between the two, but either way I love the image. I wonder if a little more room top and left might make it feel less crowded?

Awesome perch, BG, pose with perfect head angle. I would go for more room for the comp, but a very appealing image!!

P.S. The 900 pixels on the long side is for vertical images.
