    Default Mallard

    Shot mid-day from my car window, there is not much that I can do to improve this image technically, but I wanted to show how the symmetrical patterns of a common mallard are similar to those of a butterfly.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikkor 300mm f/4 w/1.4x teleconverter
    1/640
    f/5.6
    ISO 400

    Manual exposure
    Hand held

    That has to be the best Duck shot with no eye I have ever seen, seriously I like it, great capture.

    I do see the butterfly comparison! I like the symmetry, but what this image needs is more all around for the comp...
