    Beautiful bird Arsdel! Don't mind the side light all that much because there's plenty of detail in the bird. The bird looks a little soft to me. I don't think you needed an aperture as small as f/9 in this profile shot. You could have used the additional light for a faster shutter speed, and that may have helped with the softness. A shame that the perch ends so abruptly at the top. Also I would tone down the upper portion of the perch a bit. Thanks for posting.

    Great bird and I like the clean BG. The perch is not very attractive and the light seems very harsh. Maybe another round of sharpening.
