I visited with the celebrity Lady this early afternoon.
The wind was strong, temperature was down so nobody was around.
I left some suet in the snow again but she decided to get some fruit from the tree.
This is one of the shots I took and left in a hurry as I was cooling down.
    Thanks for looking.

Yes! This forum has made me much more sensitive to head angles. The fact that the head is angled slightly away from you instead of slightly toward you is a problem.

Tone, color and contrast all seem excellent.

The twig in the foreground is clipping the toes. If bird photography were an Olympic Sport I'm sure you would have a few points knocked off for that.

Perhaps a bit more space in front of the bird would be desirable.

A wonderful bird to photograph. I am envious.
I agree the HA could be a bit better but that doesn't bother me too much.
I like the BG and the composition you chose- it compliments the horizontal flow of the branch.
I do wish that the branch didn't hide the foot but it isn't a deal breaker. It would have been really nice if the bird had been parallel to the sensor.
Would love to have this image in my files,
    Gail

I like the exposure, sharpness, details, BG and composition. HA and foot mentioned. Nice image Karl.

Lovely looking thrush which is sharp and well exposed. Other than your H/A self crit and the twig across the toes, there looks to be some cloning artifacts bottom left of the picture. Would like to see a little more room all round too. TFS

I like the details and the BG-colors fits very good to the bird but the bird is a bit big in the frame for my tastes.

You are having a good time with this attractive rarity.
I would like it with a tad looser crop but that is a nitpick.
    Nice details and setting.
